Edinburgh Marathon Festival

Myself and my husband will be participating in the 10K and 5K this weekend. We are running in honour of our son and fundraising for Teddy’s Wish. To read more about our journey or to donate click here.
The 10K falls on the Saturday of the Edinburgh Marathon Festival weekend and is run in the stunning surroundings of Holyrood Park. Starting and finishing near Dynamic Earth, this route offers striking panoramic views of the city and Edinburgh Castle.

Scottish 10k

The route starts and finishes just outside Edinburgh at Musselburgh Racecourse. The Scottish 10K route is seriously fast and flat! You’ll run out and back along the magnificent Golf Coast before finishing in the final furlong at Musselburgh Racecourse; Scotland’s oldest racecourse. Come and be a part of it!

Women’s 10k Edinburgh

Starting on the historic Royal Mile, this incredible city centre route takes you past the Scottish National Gallery and into Princes Street Gardens, with the iconic Edinburgh Castle as your backdrop.
You'll then run past the Scott Monument and swoop past the Scottish Parliament building, before carrying onto Holyrood Park. Here you take in the spectacular Arthurs Seat, as well as Holyrood Palace and Dynamic Earth, before heading through the famous Grassmarket. As you reach the hustle and bustle of the Grassmarket you’re past the halfway point, where the cheering crowds will help you on your way to a grandstand finish at BT Murrayfield Stadium.

Royal Parks Half Marathon

The Royal Parks Half Marathon, presented by Royal Bank of Canada will be on Sunday 13 October 2024.
The stunning central London half marathon route takes in some of the capital's world-famous landmarks, on closed roads and within four of London's eight Royal Parks - Hyde Park, The Green Park, St James's Park and Kensington Gardens.
